Product Information
DTM4800 is a solvent-based fluorinated resin concentrate designed for durable water, oil, and stain-repellent treatment of leather, textiles, and other suitable substrates. When applied by spraying, it provides long-lasting protection without changing the surface color, hand feel, or breathability of the treated material. It also offers good storage stability and can be diluted at ratios of approximately 1:15 to 1:90, depending on the substrate and required performance.
DTM4800 is suitable for water, oil, and stain-repellent treatment of various substrates, including:
Before use, the product may be pre-diluted with a suitable solvent to achieve the desired performance. The type, grade, and ratio of solvent will affect solubility and final water/oil repellency. Always test compatibility and solubility before use.
Standard spray equipment can be used. Ensure the spray area is equipped with exhaust ventilation.
The appropriate product depends on the substrate material, processing method, required water-repellent performance, end-use conditions, and any additional requirements such as appearance, breathability, or subsequent processing. Our technical team can recommend suitable products based on your specific application.
Yes. We recommend evaluating product compatibility and waterproofing performance on your actual material and production process before large-scale use. Contact our technical team with your substrate and application requirements to discuss suitable products for testing.
DTM4800 is a solvent-based fluorinated resin concentrate designed to provide durable water, oil, and stain repellency on leather, textiles, and other suitable substrates. When properly applied by spraying, it is designed to minimize changes to the treated material's surface color, hand feel, and breathability. It is also suitable for applications where heat curing is not possible.
DTM4800 is applied by spray. The concentrate can be diluted with a suitable solvent such as petroleum ether (boiling point above 100°C), butyl ester, or dimethyl ester at a ratio of 1:15 to 1:90, depending on the substrate and required performance. Spray two cross-coats evenly, with a typical consumption of 10–12 g per square foot of diluted solution. Allow to dry at room temperature; maximum performance is typically reached after approximately 12 hours at 26°C. No heat curing is required.
