It is suitable for products exposed to moisture and humidity during processing, storage, transportation, or use. ADM-ZM can be applied by immersion, soaking, or surface brushing, allowing manufacturers to select a suitable treatment method based on the material, product structure, and production process.

The treatment helps inhibit microbial growth and reduce mold-related discoloration, deterioration, and odor, while providing additional protection against insect damage.

How ADM-JP Works

Bamboo and wood products are susceptible to mold and mildew when exposed to moisture, high humidity, or unfavorable storage conditions.

ADM-ZM is applied to the surface of the treated material to help inhibit microbial growth and reduce the risk of mold, mildew, discoloration, and related deterioration.

Its additional insect-protection function provides a broader protection approach for natural-material products that require both mold protection and insect protection.

Application Methods

1. Immersion / Soaking Treatment

Immersion is suitable for bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and similar products that can be completely immersed in the treatment solution.

Recommended Starting Formulation
ADM-JP : Water = 1 : 20
For example: 5 kg ADM-ZM + 100 kg water

Recommended Treatment Procedure

1. Prepare the treatment solution at the recommended starting dilution.
2. Completely immerse the bamboo or wood products in the solution.
3. Recommended immersion time: approximately 5–10 minutes.
4. A weight gain of approximately 15–20% can be used as a practical treatment reference.
5. Remove the treated products and allow excess solution to drain.
6. Air-dry or sun-dry thoroughly.
7. Package and store after sufficient drying.

Actual dosage and treatment time should be adjusted according to the material, product structure, absorption characteristics, and required protection performance.

2. Surface Brushing

For products that are not suitable for complete immersion, ADM-ZM can be applied directly to the surface using a brush. Apply the treatment solution evenly to the target surfaces and allow the products to dry thoroughly before packaging or subsequent processing.

Surface treatment is particularly useful for larger, assembled, or partially finished bamboo and wood products.

3. Coated Products

For coated bamboo and wood products, compatibility testing is recommended before full-scale application to determine the appropriate treatment process.

Store ADM-ZM in a dry, cool, and light-protected environment. Keep the container properly closed when not in use.
