ADM-JP is an anti-mold and insect-resistant agent designed for bamboo, wood, rattan, and other natural fiber products. It effectively protects against mold, bacteria, algae, and yeast, helping prevent deterioration, discoloration, and odor. The product is suitable for a wide range of applications, including bamboo and wood crafts, interior decoration materials, filling fibers, cleaning products, wall coverings, disposable cloths, filter materials, polyurethane foam, and more. It offers long-lasting protection that withstands repeated washing and cleaning.

Suitable Applications

ADM-JP is suitable for anti-mold and insect-resistant treatment of various natural fiber products, including:

• Bamboo woven products and wood, rattan, miscanthus, palm, and grass products
• Interior decoration materials, filling fibers for quilts, sleeping bags, and clothing (e.g., cotton, natural down, nylon, polyester, rayon, wool)
• Cleaning products
• Non-food-contact vinyl fiber paper and wall coverings
• Disposable cloths for cleaning furniture, cars, walls, doors, windows, floors, appliances, and dishes (these cloths do not provide bactericidal performance)
• Filter materials (vacuum cleaner filters, air purifier filters)
• Disposable polyurethane foam pads; polyurethane and polyethylene foams
• Household, industrial, and public utility polyurethane foam sponges and cleaning wipes

Application Method

To ensure effective anti-mold and insect-resistant performance on bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and their products:

• Immersion treatment: Soak the products in the ADM-JP solution until they gain 15%–20% weight (approximately 5–10 minutes). The soaking solution is prepared at a ratio of 1:20 (5 kg ADM-JP : 100 kg water).
• Fully immerse the bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, or their products in the prepared solution (do not expose above the water surface). Once the weight gain reaches 15%–20%, remove, drain, and air-dry or sun-dry before packaging and storage.
• Brush application: Apply directly onto the surface of bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, or their products using a brush.
• The prepared solution is stable and can be reused repeatedly without being discarded. However, when the solution level is insufficient to immerse the products, add more solution prepared at a higher concentration.
• For bamboo, wood, rattan, grass, and their products that have a surface varnish coating, adding AEM5700-1 anti-mold and antibacterial agent to the varnish after the above treatment can provide even better results.

• Storage: Store in a moisture-proof and light-protected environment.
• Shelf life: 3 years under proper storage conditions.

Safety Precautions

• This product is acidic and must not come into contact with or be mixed with metals or alkaline substances.
• Shake well before use (floating matter on the surface is normal).
• The product is non-toxic, but due to its high solid content, some individuals may experience skin contact allergies. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves during operation.
